From the blue skies over Yellowstone to “The Daddy of ’em All” ~ Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, from Devils Tower to the still waters of Flaming Gorge Reservoir, Wyoming has something for every sportsman.
The majestic mountains of the cowboy state hold large populations of elk, mule deer, shiras moose, bighorn sheep, mountain lion and mountain goats, not to mention thousands of crystal blue lakes teaming with brook trout, rainbow trout, brown trout, cutthroat trout, lake trout and grayling.
If you desire the wide open spaces, Wyoming has millions of acres of prairie lands covered with lush grass and sagebrush, home to a pronghorn antelope population that outnumbers the total human population of the state. Large whitetail deer and merriam turkey populations inhabit the lush riparian zones on the Eastern side of the state and offer excellent hunting opportunity.
When sportsman think of Western big game hunting, pristine mountain valleys and rolling sage prairies the first thing that comes to mind is Wyoming. There’s always room for a few more visitors, so saddle up partner ~ we’ll see ya soon.
