Southwest Texas Whitetail Deer Hunts

Southwest Texas has long been noted for large whitetail deer populations and trophy bucks.  Our outfitter in this area offers a variety of Texas whitetail hunt options on large high-fenced and free-ranging ranch conditions.  Deer hunts are conducted from ground and elevated blinds along cut areas, agricultural ground and feeding stations, beginning mid-November through mid-January.

Clients will normally see 10-30 bucks per day and trophy bucks will generally have 10 to 12 points and have 17″ to 22″ spreads.

Intensive Texas whitetail deer management programs on these ranches have been very successful.  During the November 2002 season, a Texas whitetail was taken on one of these ranches that gross scored over 200 Boone and Crockett points and several others were taken in the 170 and 180 point range.

All whitetail deer hunts include airport pickup and return in San Antonio, professional guide service, meals, new lodge accommodations and trophy care.   Licenses may be purchased upon arrival or in advance.  Hunters may also take a doe, hog, javelina, bobcat and coyote while on their deer hunt at no extra charge.  During the mid-day hours while you are not hunting, they offer sporting clays and several well-stocked bass ponds.  All fishing is catch and release and bass up to 10 pounds have been caught.
