The Corn Husker state offers a wide variety of hunting opportunity for big game and wing shooting. Nebraska is a rich agricultural region divided by several major deranges which provide the combination necessary for huge whitetail deer, mule deer and some of the best waterfowl and upland bird shooting to be found anywhere.
Whitetail deer inhabit all of the state, while mule deer are found mainly in the northwest corner. These areas annually produce some excellent trophies. A Nebraska hunt can be a exciting opportunity.
The farm land of eastern and central Nebraska are rich and productive, attracting a large variety of ducks and geese during the fall and winter months, which provide the avid waterfowl hunter many great days afield. And don’t forget there are plenty of Merriam turkeys and upland game species to fill in those idol days.
