Saskatchewan Canada Spring Black Bear Hunt

The northern regions of Saskatchewan are wild, remote and maintain one of the largest black bear populations to be found anywhere. The black bear populations in this area are estimated to be as dense as six to eight mature bears per square mile, consequently trophy quality is not a problem.

In early spring, the big boars take charge of the bait sites first in search of an easy meal, which makes for some outstanding hunting opportunity. All hunts are conducted from comfortable tree stands located over well established bait sites. Color phase bears in this area average approximately sixty-percent, ranging from blonde to pure black.

After a exciting day viewing bears from your stand, you will return to the comfort of the modern lodge and partake of a great meal prepared by the in house chef. All hunts are 5.5 days starting on Monday morning and running through noon the following Saturday. If you would like to add some additional excitement to your trip, the lake is loaded with walleye and northern pike.
