Explore the beauty of South Africa while taking in some excellent plains game hunting.  This 12-day safari includes a 6-day South Africa plains game hunt for 6 animals and a 6-day tourism trip from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town via the Garden Route.  Your host for this safari is a wonderful gentlemen we have known for many years.

During your 6 days of hunting in Africa, you will hunt the kudu, bushbuck, impala, cape springbuck, blesbuck and gray duiker (photos below).  Additional animals may be taken on a trophy fee basis.  The hunt includes guiding, trophy fees for the 6 animals listed and trophy preparation.

While your tour can be changed based on your preferences, we recommend the following itinerary:

Day 0  ~  Arrive at Port Elizabeth airport and drive to hunting camp.  We can assist you with discounted airline reservations to South Africa.  Call for details.

Day 1 to Day 6  ~  6 full days of hunting the kudu, bushbuck, impala, cape springbuck, blesbuck and grey duiker.

Day 7  ~  Depart for Storms River Mouth on the Garden Route via a very scenic drive.  Visit Addo National Elephant Park on the way.  Journey to Port Elizabeth.  Sleep at Storms River Mouth.  This is a good place for snorkeling, scuba diving and beautiful walking trails/paths.  If you are courageous, you can also experience the world’s highest bungi jump.

Day 8  ~  Late departure for Highlands Lodge in the Garden Route.  Visit exciting forests and beaches.  Enjoy dinner at a very nice restaurant at Highlands Lodge.

Day 9  ~  Visit Cango Caves, Crocodile farm and Cheetah Park on the way to Cape Town.  Arrive Cape Town in the evening and check into Hunters Lodge guest house on the slopes of Table Mountain.

Day 10  ~  Visit Table Mountain, Castle, Sea Point and Cape Town’s Famous Waterfront and Oceanarium.

Day 11  ~  Drive to Cape Point, a very scenic drive.  Shop for curios.  Enjoy a boat trip to Seal Island and have a nice seafood lunch at Hout Bay.

Day 12  ~  Early departure for wine tour and tasting.  In the evening, depart from Cape Town International Airport.
